McAdoo Fire And EMS dispatched to 109 N Kennedy Drive for a house fire. Quint 49-22 arrived on scene had light smoke coming from the rear of the residence. Engine 49-15 stood by at the hydrant for water supply. Upon investigation crews found a microwave on fire in the kitchen. Crews removed the microwave from the kitchen to the yard and started ventilation with PPV fan. Crews checked for extension in the wall and came up negative. Crews were on scene for 1 hour.
